August 14th, 2007 by BruceThe common misconception of UK bingo player is of the little old ladies playing in the church hall. However, recent research has shown this to be completely untrue! Due to the increasing popularity of online bingo, the typical player has proven to have evolved! Rather than the construed opinion of the game being only for the older generation, polls have actually shown that the most common players of bingo are women between the ages of 20 and 45, amounting to 1 in 5 players falling into this group!

Bingo is seen by many as a great way to socialise, and with the ease of online bingo – it is now considered top be one of the most popular games amongst this age group. Young female professionals are taking advantage of this facility – socialising with friends and playing an exciting game whilst sitting back in comfort with a nice glass of wine! Some are stay at home mums who use the chat rooms as their social platform!
Whoever the user is, it is fair to say that the view of bingo has definitely changed – it is no longer just the older generation who are playing bingo. Lots of people play bingo and online bingo – none are typical, although the research completed recently does highlight this particular group!

Hello, I found this a very good and quite funny article to read about the not so typical bingo player. When I was younger I must admit, when I thought of bingo I did get a picture of lots of little old ladies sitting in a bingo hall drinking tea and gossiping but I sure do not think like that anymore, expecially since I now play Bingo, lol. Bingo is now played by the young, old, men and women alike and from all walks of life across the world. Online Bingo is a great place to be and play.
